Description
In the enchanting hall of chamber music, the boundaries between eras and souls dissolve — and an evening of pure trio begins, where violin, cello, and piano merge into a single voice. The Trio Concept concert promises a journey into the depths of the musical spirit: there will be no chronology, only living sound, born here and now.
The program presents three majestic and contrasting works: Rachmaninoff’s Trio Élégiaque No. 1 in G minor, Schumann’s Piano Trio in E-flat major, Op. 80, and Weinberg’s Trio, Op. 24 — three bold stylistic worlds united by emotional intensity, weight, and hope.
On stage are three musicians whose cohesion has become the very essence of their name: Edoardo Greco (violin), Francesco Massimino (cello), and Lorenzo Nguyen (piano). The ensemble has earned recognition not only in Italy but also internationally: from the 2025/26 season they hold the title of ECHO Rising Stars, and in 2024 they received the prestigious Prix Yves Paternot.
For the listener, this evening offers immersion into three distinct poetics — from the shadows of Rachmaninoff’s sorrow and longing to Schumann’s inner struggles and intimacy, from Weinberg’s tense expressivity to the harmonious patterns of chamber dialogue. Each piece is like a separate chapter, yet one that holds the next by the hand: the sound intertwines through timbre and character, and in the end it seems that all three voices are but one.
This evening is more than a performance — it is proof that music can become a space of encounter: of composers and performers, of listeners and their own emotions.
